Referee's report by Edmund Taylor Whittaker, on a paper 'An invariant form for the prior probability in estimation problems' by Harold Jeffreys Sectional committee: Mathematics He doesn't think he can make a definite recommendation to the Society. The form is unsatisfactory and there are lots of deletions and additions. The author is 'disprespectful' for submitting the paper in it's present form.
