Letter from Francis John Worsley Roughton, on a paper 'The inactivation of an enzyme (carboxypeptidase) by X- and a-radiation' by W M Dale, Louis Harold Gray and W J Meredith to the Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society He is sorry for the delay in returning the paper,as he didn't return from America until the beginning of August. It is a 'reasonably competent piece of work on a difficult problem'. He cannot referee it thoroughly, since he doesn't know enough about radio-chemistry. Fears that his opinion may not be of value to the Chemistry Committee. It should be read by a competent radio-chemist. Asks for his address to be updated.
