Memorandum from the Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society, on a paper 'The mechanics of large bubbles rising through extended liquids and through liquids in tubes' by Geoffrey Ingram Taylor and R M Davies to George Ingle Finch As David Brunt is away from London, asks Finch to suggest the name of a suitable referee or if a referee is required. Finch agrees that there is no need for a referee, but a referee would help to clarify obscure details of the paper. He would welcome the appointment of a referee and suggests Penney.
