<dc:title>Referee's report by Edward Armand Guggenheim, on a paper 'A thermodynamical investigation of the system benzene-diphenyl' by John H Baxendale, B V Enüstün and J Stern</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional committee: Chemistry

Paper reference code: A41

Recommended for publication in Proceedings. Guggenheim writes: 'Although presented as a single paper it is in fact four separate papers put together. I myself see no objection to this procedure, but in considering whether the length of the paper is reasonable, it must be borne in mind that it is really four separate papers [...] My opinion is that 3 of them could be abbreviated without loss.'
