Letter from John Edward Lennard-Jones, on four papers by William Keith Burton, Nicolás Cabrera and Frederick Charles Frank, to D C Martin, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society Paper reference code: A52-A55 Lennard-Jones writes to express that he has 'more papers to referee at the moment than I can cope with [...] I am writing to Professor Curtis, the Chairman of the Physics Committee, to explain to him that I an unable to accept all the papers being sent to me at present, as they come from bodies dealing with mathematics, physics and chemistry.'
