Letter from William Lawrence Bragg, on four papers by William Keith Burton, Nicolás Cabrera and Frederick Charles Frank, to D C Martin, Assistant Secretary of the Royal Society Paper reference code: A52-A55 Bragg writes: 'I have been reading the four papers which you sent to me as referee on the 20th April. I am afraid I am not competent to referee them [...] I found them very interesting, and it seemed to me that some exciting and novel ideas were coming out. I do feel, however, that they ought to go to a theoretical physicist.' Suggests Lennard-Jones. Suggests that the four papers could be condensed into one or two. Offers to contact [Douglas Rayner] Hartree as a potential referee.
