<dc:title>Referee's report by George Frederick James Temple, on a paper 'The diffraction of a plane sound pulse incident normally on a regular grating of perfectly reflecting strips' by E N Fox</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Sectional committee: Mathematics

Paper reference code: A213

Recommended for publication in the Proceedings. Temple comments: 'This paper is a further development of papers published in the Philosophical Transactions in 1948 and 1949. It is a very competent investigation of a problem of considerable interest both in applied mathematics and in physics. I have no criticisms to make, as the paper seems to be all right and suitable for publication'.
