Temple writes: 'So far I can judge, this paper seems to be very suitable of publication in the Proceedings, but I do think that it ought to be seen by Sir Geoffrey Taylor as he himself has written a number of papers on the subject of spherical blast waves, and I cannot be certain to what extent it overlaps with his work.'
