<dc:title>Referee's report by Henry Nottidge Moseley, on a paper 'On the genus Culeolus' by William Abbott Herdman</dc:title>
<dc:description>Not recommended for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society'. Suggests it is suitable for inclusion in the expedition report of the HMS Challenger or a purely zoological journal, such as the Transactions of the Linnean Society or the Zoological Society. The paper 'contains no new fact of first or even second rate zoological importance'. Leaves consideration of publication in the Proceedings to the Committee. If zoological papers appearing in the Proceedings are 'intended to stamp it as of very special importance', then the paper should not appear in the Proceedings.
