<dc:title>Letter from J [John] Herbert Parsons, 54 Queen Anne Street, Cavendish Square, to [Henry] Tizard </dc:title>
<dc:description>He was talking to T.R. Elliott, who suggested giving a dinner to the President and to [Henry Hallett] Dale who is to retire. Parsons thinks it an excellent idea, but does not wish to encourage too many official dinners, as infrmal ones are 'good fun'. He would be inclined to have an ordinary meeting and give notice that the President and Secretary would be guests of the Club. He presumes it would not be until November, when Parsons will be out of office.</dc:description>
