[Edwin John] Butler, the secnd Treasurer cannot continue owing to ill health and he will ask [Frederick George] Donnan to fill one vacancy. He has gone through the list with [Archibald Vivian] Hill and [Alfred] Egerton and they both suggested Salisbury. 8 January 1942
