<dc:title>Letter from Alex W [Alexander William] Williamson, 28 Primrose Hill Road, to Dr [John] Gwyn Jeffreys</dc:title>
<dc:description>He intended to get to the last dinner of the Club, but was thoroughly tired by six o'clock and felt he ought to go home. Since he is unlikely to attend often, he should have asked the Club's permission to retire in favour of a new candidate, but he thinks his place would not promote another by making an available gap. He will therefore be glad to remain for the present. </dc:description>
