Copy letter from Robert H Scott, 6 Elm Park Gardens, to 'Dear Sir' [J Norman Lockyer, Editor of 'Nature'] He submitted Lockyer's letter and enclosure to the Royal Society Club meeting last evening and he is requested to reply that the Club does not think any article should appear. The Club has always maintained its strictly private character. Its history was privately issued and copies have not been sold except by chance. 25 March 1898
