<dc:title>Letter from E B [Edward Bagnell] Poulton, Charing Cross, to [William Napier Shaw?]</dc:title>
<dc:description>He expresses his regrets concerning his absences from the Royal Society Club, due to his being abroad. He is now on the Council of the Linnean Society which meets on Thursday evenings and it is convenient to dine with colleagues before the meetings. As he lives in Oxford this took all of his possible times in London on Thursdays. So long as he continues on the Linnean, the difficulty will remain.</dc:description>
