<dc:title>Letter from William Bowman, Joldwynds, Dorking, to Robert H [Henry] Scott and [John Whitaker] Hulke</dc:title>
<dc:description>He has just been writing to Judd. Bowman believes that for a satisfactory result [merging the Philosophical Club and Royal Society Club], strongly felt opinions should be available to the Joint Committee before it makes a decision. These can only be collected at the dinners, as circulating questions seems too rigid. The joint Committee might be empowered to arrange a programme for the year 1892-3 and to deal with the rules of each Club. There would be no final commitment on behalf of each Club in this. </dc:description>
