<dc:title>Letter from W W [William Whitehead] Watts, Hillside, Langley Park, Sutton, Surrey, to Sir Capel [Holden]</dc:title>
<dc:description>He gives thanks for the letter and enclosures. He thinks it doubtful whether Macmillan would wait on the off chance that the Royal Society Club would take the remainder of the books, but it would be better if Holden would write directly to them. Watts speculates if the History will last for 50 years; noting that he had to take a copy of Smyth's History of 1860 when he became a member in about 1910. He thinks that members should receive a copy with their first subscription. </dc:description>
