<dc:title>Letter from Thomas Gold to Dr John Pomeroy, Lunar Programs Office, Code SM, NASA Headquarters, Washington DC</dc:title>
<dc:description>Enclosing a copy of their Auger spectrogram of lunar material, and for comparison the only one that he has seen from Fitton et al. at ESTEC. He thinks there is very little doubt that they have made progress in their very difficult field. Now technically ready to proceed to the purpose of it all - namely a comparison of lunar material before and after proton irradiation to simulate the effect of the solar wind and observe the manner in which the composition of the surfaces of the grains is changed thereby. They will do this if the financial position allows it.

PS; Will shortly be sending a suitable collectionof reprints to transmit to other referees of their work.</dc:description>
