Urey, Department of Chemistry, Revelle College, University of California, P.O.Box 109, La Jolla, California Is asking Lyttelton to send Urey a reprint of a recent paper on the formation of planets from a solar nebula. Has been persuaded for some time that accumulations like the Moon and the Earth must have proceeded from solid particles only, and than no gaseous accumulation would work. The Lyttelton paper clarifies some of the considerations very well. 1 March 1973
