<dc:title>Letter from Thomas Gold to Dr R Golob, Center for Short-lived Phenomena, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, 60 GArden Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts</dc:title>
<dc:description>They have received a copy of his list of booms and associated phenomena until December 31, in the Library of Congress report. If he has a list of occurrences since then they would be glad of a copy, as they are studying a set of possibilities for an explanation. The problem has some urgency, in their view, as he thinks Golob knows. Gold does not think it is being treated with any urgency by the groups designated to investigate. </dc:description>
