<dc:title>Letter from Thomas Gold to Mr Jerry Brady, Staff Assistant to Senator E Kennedy, Immigration Building, Rm. 402, 119 D Street, N.E., Washington DC</dc:title>
<dc:description>States they are very appreciative of the letters from Senator Kennedy to the Director of the NSF and to Dr Deutsch, Director of Energy Research at the Department of Energy.

They have also seen the inclusion of the sentence in the appropriations bill and consider this will help to get work going.

They have had no invitation or opportunity to discuss this subject with Dr Deutsch yet. Gold is meanwhile making progress with various detailed scientific investigations, but a major push and intiiative from D.o.E. will be required in the end.

Postscript:
Asks him to send a copy of Gold's testimony of 8 March 1978 which is presumably now printed.</dc:description>
