<dc:title>Letter from Thomas Gold to Sir Hermann Bondi, chief Scientist, Department fo Energy, Thamse House South, Millbank, London SW1P 4QJ, England</dc:title>
<dc:description>Concerning his meeting with Mr Curl and another from Harwell next week. Will do his best to advise where to look for gas. If a lot of gas is found, Gold would expect to derive some personal benefit from it. The general rule in Britain will be: beneath the coal. Will explain this to Bondi another time. Expects they will see each other in Australia.

Is enclosing a high-powered letter that was written on behalf of this idea - four Nobel signators. No reaction so far. The letter can be used at this time for any purpose, with the only restriction that it should not get into the press yet - perhaps later.</dc:description>
