<dc:title>Letter from Thomas Gold to Mr Joseph R Tamillo, Head Debate Coach, White Bear Senior High School, 5040 Balk Eagle Avenue, White Bear Lake, Minnesota</dc:title>
<dc:description>Thanks him for his letter. States what is needed is imaginative new research (for which very little money is avaiable) rather than payinig out billions for imported oil. New methods of prospecting for deep gas must be developed.

Gold believes that the energy crisis will end abruptly, when it is understood that gas can be obtained in very large amounts. Only when the comparatively trivial sums will be devoted to the necessary research is hard to predict.

Suggests his article in the Journal of Petroleum Geology, Vol. 1, No. 3 for further reading.</dc:description>
