<dc:title>Letter from Thomas Gold to Dr H S Mohamed, Energy, Mines and Resxources Canada, Conservation and Renewabnle Eneergy Branch, Sir Willilam Logan Building, 580 Booth Street, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada</dc:title>
<dc:description>Thanks him for his interesting letter. Does not know if super acids should be held responsible for poymerizing methane in the ground, or whether catalysts in the rocks do it. At any rate Gold is pretty sure that it happens, and they are setting up experiments with 14C methand to study the processes.

Is enclosing some papers ont he subject. </dc:description>
