  <dc:title>Letter from Thomas Gold to Dr Gordon MacDonald, Mitre Corporation, 1820 Dolly Madison Blvd., McLean, Virginia</dc:title>
  <dc:description>Lists various items;
1. Latest and final version of the Brontides paper, accpeted for Science
2. Report of occurrence in Black Tickle, will try to get a sample of the ground below burnt grass
3. The paper on the Rings of Uranus

Asks him to write a nice complimentary letter for Dermott. He needs to get a visa and they need external statements tht he is not in competition with workers, but is unique. Suggests a sample letter.

Aalso MacDonald was going to send him some informtion regarding depths of gas in Appalachia, in relation to depths of coal. Gold has a few examples, but is sure MacDonald can lay his hands on better ones, where lateral migration from a laer layer can be excluded.</dc:description>
