<dc:title>Letter from Thomas Gold to Dr D S Heeschen, Director, National Radio Astronomy Observatory, Green Bank, West Virginia</dc:title>
<dc:description>Enclosing another draft of Dr Heeschen's proposed letter inviting the Users' Committee and commenting on Dr Heeschen's original draft. Says that he will soon tell Dr Heeschen about plans for a study of issues concerning a big array. Also says that he is putting together a campaign to convince NASA that, in the future, they will require 'an array of standard dishes for deep space communication purposes and that they should therefore be the first to shoulder the burden of designing and constructing what will later become the standard dish for big arrays'. Goes onto discuss this in more detail.</dc:description>
