Letter from Thomas Gold to Dr Curtis Hemenway, Dudley Observatory, Albany, New York Says that he associates himself completely with the project and thinks that it might be an important addition to their astronomy program. Tells Dr Hemenway that he is unable to come to the meeting on 18 April but says that Dr Terzian is aware of his views and can represent him. Also says that they are glad of the decision in favour of a 150 inch and would prefer a site in Baja California to one in Chile. 25 March 1968
