Letter from E Bilson, Senior Research Aide to Thomas Gold, to Dr Krishna Apparao, Tata Institute, Bombay, India Dr Apparao's preprint of 'Solar Cycle Theory of Pulsars' arrived in Professor Gold's absence. He will not be returning until February, so he showed his paper to Professor F Drake, who asked him to call Dr Apparao's attention to the fine details of experimental observations on pulsars. Several of these details are in disagreement with Dr Apparao's proposed theory, such as; 1. Mean pulse shapes 2. Class2 pulsation 3. Time between pulses is precise 7 January 1970
