Career: Member of the Household of HRH Augustus Frederick, Duke of Sussex Commanded the frigate 'Druid', which arrived off Macao, in 1840, and thence proceeded to Tongkoo Roads, a most welcome re-inforcement. He died on active service in the China Seas, after a few weeks illness.
