Physician Education: Padua (admitted 1649); Leyden (MD 1653); Dublin (MD 1664) Career: Practised in Dublin; published 'Aero-chalinos, or, A Register for the Air' (1664), a second edition of which was published posthumously by the Royal Society in 1677 Parents: Benjamin Henshaw and Anne Bonham Siblings: Thomas Henshaw (FRS 1663) Henshaw's publication 'Aero-Chalinos' was focused on the notions of fresh air and its medical value. Other works of his that focused on saltpetre and gunpowder found strong opposition by scholar and fellow physician Henry Stubbe.
