Physician Education: Brasenose College, Oxford; Magdalen Hall, Oxford (BA 1635; MA 1638); Pembroke College, Oxford (DMed 1657) Career: Physician to the Navy; Physician in Ordinary to Charles II (1660-death); MP for New Shoreham (1662-1667); Commissioner for Assessment for Westminster (1663-death), Middlesex (1664-death) Memberships: Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (1661) Parents: Walter Quatremain and Elizabeth Quatremain Married: 1) Catherine; 2) Mary Dyke As a royalist, Quatremain followed the court into exile until the Restoration, where he worked as a physician. After this, he practiced primarily in Lewes, Sussex. During the plague in the 1660s, he went to York although when attending the Oxford session, Quatremain was appointed to the committee for the prevention of infection's spread. He invested in land reclamation schemes which were generally unprofitable.
