DescriptionInforms of his attempts to listen to McMichaels's speech, describing his assistant's experience whilst listening to in the office, and recounting his own experience at home. Discusses equipment limitations and enquires about the timing of McMichael's next speech. Notfiies of having written to the 'Lots Road' people and still awaiting their response. Expects he will have to deal with telephony and other matters at his upcoming address to the Society of Arts. Proposed that the Society of Arts should send out invitations to their meeting to a number of members who want to come, referring to a list of members up to October 1919, from which he could make a selection, inviting McMichael to suggest individuals. Informs he has yet to receive a response from the Post Office regarding his application in connection with these meetings but a note from Captain Loring promises to expedite matters.
