DescriptionReferring to a previous notice for a meeting, regrets he will not be able to attend as he is due to take the Chair at a Council meeting of the British Scientific Instrument Research Assoiation at the same hour. Emphasises he is anxious to suggest that the Provincial Committee shoudl endeabour to get incorporated in the Bill specific powers to enable the Electricity Commissioners to set aside agreements with Corporations limiting the price that electricity undertakings can charge. Understands there is a simiular clause in a recent Tramway Act. Informs he has requested Mr Sydney Morse to attend the meeting on behalf of the Scarborough Electric Supply Company Ltd to put forward their wishes.
