Description | Replying to a previous letter, informs that the strip he sent was a portion of one of the three emissions that are sent out from the Admiralty station at Horsea, near Porstmouth, for the benefit of the British fleet, commenting it can be read as far off as Cairo. Encloses two of his recent papers, one of which gives a description of the apparatus which is employed to work the siphon recorder. Invites Hare to visit him at Chester Square to see the apparatus. Comments on Dewar's recent lecture. |
