Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to [George Howard] Nash, [Esquire]. |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 1 November 1920 |
Description | Due to problems associated with obtaining a Post Office licence to transmit and difficulties getting satisfactory wireless telephony under the limits imposed by the Post Office, he is unable to get arrangements working satisfactorily to ask Nash to partake, but hopes to be able to soon. This affects his upcoming address at the Royal Society of Arts, as he will have to abandon his original idea of getting his and Nash's joint experiment completed in time to demonstrate the results. Suggests arranging a special night at the Royal Society of Arts in case they do manage to get something really satisfactory. Invites Nash to the address. |
