Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to Cousin Mary |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 12 March 1927 |
Description | Acknowledges receipt of a previous letter which he only saw after he posted a letter to the Archbishop. Cannot understand the enormous discrepancy between the prices quoted by Bathrust and by Drake & Gorham. Doubts whether they can cover the same thinkgs, particularly as the latter talk of 507 lights, and the former of 161 points. Unsure whether the points mean several lights. Promises to write again on Monday, as he has no time to pursue the matter further today. |
