Title | Letter from [Alan Archibald Campbell] Swinton, to George [Swinton] |
Creator | Swinton; Alan Archibald Campbell (1863-1930); British electrical engineer |
Date | 23 March 1928 |
Description | Attaches a copy of the previous letter he received from W. E. Swinton, of the Natural History Museum, stating he has told him that he is sending a copy to George, relaying that he asked for the name of the grand-aunt who was apparently invited to Swinton a few years before the war. Additionally asked W. E. Swinton when he returns from Germany, to come and see him so he can show him the pedigree and charters. Enquires if he knows anything of Mark Swinton of Inverkeithing. Discusses an upcoming dinner at the Savoy Hotel and notifies that Alice [Swinton] is coming for a week at the end of this week, after which she intends to stay with Lucy Wake at Oxford. |
