Creator | Markham; Sir; Clements Robert (1830-1916); President of the Royal Geographical Society |
Recipient | Kempe; Sir; Alfred Bray (1849-1922) |
Date | 15 February 1902 |
Description | Lists the reports and collections which are due to arrive from the 'Discovery' Expedition in the next few days. This consists of ten reports on magnetic and metorological observations, soundings, atmospheric readings, geological data, and zoological data. The reports will be accompanied with various cases of specimens, including three cases of plankton specimens, five cases of bird skins, and a case containing pressed plants, insects and geological specimens. Markham then outlines where he believes each set of reports and specimens should be sent for further analysis. Asks Kempe to show this letter to the President of the Royal Society fto approve these suggestions. |
