Summary of recommendation to the Minister of Education; 1. Minute 4(a) - that this Committee draw the attention of H.M. Government to the needs of supplying scientific equipment for the rehabilitation of devastated European laboratories and recommend that this be regaded as a matter of high priority 2. Minute 4(b) - that Mr T W J Taylor, or failing him, Sir Gregory Evans, or failing him Dr C S Harland, be nominated UK representative to attend the Hylean Amazon Scientific Commission in Brazil about 12 August 1947 3. Minute 7 - that this Committee strongly supports the institution by the British Association of a scientific information service and that H. M. Government examine the proposal, bearing in mind that although action be confined to this country in the immediate future, it might later be linked up with (1) an imperial, and (2) an international, organisation.
