Minutes of last meeting of Naturalists' Committee on 16 April 1875 read and confirmed

Correspondence between Mr Slater and Professor Huxley read, ' and resolved -

1. That Mr Slater be permitted to accede to Professor Flower's request to have the objects collected by him, and temporarily deposited at the Royal College of Surgeons, shewn at Professor Flower's soiree.
2. That each collector be requested to prepare an inventory of the various objects he has collected, giving an approximate estimate of their number and condition. And that he be requested also to furnish suggestions as to the persons he would wish to be entrusted with the working out of the differenct groups of plants and animals.
3. That Mr Slater be asked what sum he has borrowed from the Honourable Edward Newton, and, on the Treasurer being satisfied that the claims are just he be authorised to pay the money direct to Mr Newton.
4. That the following bills, totaling £621-3-9d (listed) be paid, but that the balances of salaries (except so much as is to be remitted to Mr Newton) be retained until the completion of the Reports, and delivery of the specimens. '
