Minutes of last meeting on 18 June 1875 rread and confirmed

The Secretary was asked to convey the Committee's approbration of the reports provided by Messrs Balfour, Gulliver, Slater and Mr Eaton

Resolved;
1. To pay £120.4.8d out of the funds of the Society to make up the shortfall between the £1461.16.0d estimated adn actual £1582.0.8d
2. Council to be recommennded to instruct the Secretaries to address the letters to the Principal Librarian of the British Museum and the Director of the Royal Gardens, Kew asin the drafts listed.
3. Sums due to Dr Balfourm, Mr Gulliver and Mr Eaton to be paid.
4. Mr Slater authorised to pay ' to the Hon. Edward Newton or to his agent in London, the sum due according to the terms of his appointment: and that he be requested to explain why the passage and other money which has already been paid to him by the Society has not been applied to the payment of Mr Newton. '
