Minutes of meeting of 19 April 1883 read and confirmed
' The Secretary was directed to apply to the Canadian Govenment for their promised contribution, enclosing a copy of the account. An account from the Meteorological Office (£13.13.6d) for damage to instruments was presented, and the Treasurer was authorised to pay it.
Mr Scott presented Circular No 34 from the International Polar Committee, at St Petersburg 15 December 1883 [attached to minutes]
Treasurer presented a letter of 21 December 1883 from Captain Dawson with certain proposals concerning his expenses, which were adopted by the Committee |
