Matters discussed;
1. Apologies for non-attendance from Professor W L Bragg, and Professor C E Inglis

2. Reviewed the situation generally, and the feeling of the meeting was in favour of two Research Fellowships rather than one Professorship

3. Dr J D Bernal, Dr. J D Cockcroft, Dr C D Ellis FRS, Dr E L Hirst, Dr W Hume-Rothery, Mr H S Patterson, and Dr S Sugden were put forward as possible candidates, and the proposers undertook to give fuller particulars of their nominees. The Secretary undertook to make enquiries from various Fellows and other scientists as to further names.
