Captain Dawson and Mr Whipple invited to be present

1. Treasurer reported he had paid Mr Dawosn £500, and £500 had been received from the Treasury

2. Resolved ' that Mr Scott be authorised to state to the Vienna Conference that the maximum sum that con be contributed by this country towards the general expences of the International Polar Commission will be £150, the British Committee bearing als the expenses of the reduction of its won Observations on the minimum plan proposed in the Programme for 17 April 1884.

3. An album containing photographs relating to the Austrian Circumpolar Expedition of 1882-3 presented by Count Wilczek to Mr Scott was presented by him to the Circumpolar Committee
