Farrer, Office of Committee of Privy Council for Trade, Whitehall, 11 April 1866, to the President of the Royal Society, full text entered into the minutes: transmitting a copy of the report made by the committee considering questions relating to the Meteorological Department. Letter from William Allen Miller, Chemical Society, 19 April 1866, to the President of the Royal Society, full text entered into the minutes: on alternating meetings in the Chemical Society's rooms in Burlington House with meetings of the Mathematical Society and requesting the Royal Society's approval of the arrangement, granted.
