Correspondence concerning Thouless' time on the Panel of External Experts for Mathematical Physics for University of London, dated November 1972. Correspondence from the Institute of Physics concerning an award of the 1973 Maxwell Medal and Prize, dated December 1962. There are a couple pieces of correspondence received by Thouless of an earlier date that have been stored with papers relating to the University of Birmingham, these are: Two pieces of correspondence relating to agreements made with Thouless; the first from Bell Telephone Laboratories concerning services to the company, dated 1 August 1962; and the second from an editor at John Wiley & Sons Inc. relating to Thouless' contribution to the Hans Bethe anniversary volume 'Perspectives in Modern Physics', dated 14 July 1965.
