Citation | John Beccaria of the Order of the Pious Schools, Professor of Experimental Philosophy in the University of Turin, being a Gentleman well versed in all kinds of Philosophical Learning, and particularly known for his ingenious works upon Electricity, wherein he has sustained the system of Mr Franklin, is desirous of the honour of becoming a member of the Royal Society of London. We, whose names are underwritten do accordingly recommend him, as one well deserving that honour, and Likely to become a valuable, and usefull member thereof |
