| Citation | We, the underwritten Members of the Royal Society of London, do from our personal knowledge recommend the Count, Apollon of Moussin Puschkin, Lord Chamberlain in Service to His Majesty, the Emperor of Russia, Member of the Imperial Academy of Sciences at Petersburg, & of the physical Society of Friends of Berlin, the Author of some memoirs in Nova Acta Petropolitana, & of several chemical, and mineralogical papers, on the Platina & the Chromium, & like subjects; as being desirous of becoming a Member of the Royal Society; and that He, on account of his Learning in various branches of Litterature, & especial in Natural Philosophy and History is heighly deserving of that honour, and probably becoming an useful Member |
