Citation | Aviv Regev is a pioneering leader in the development of both the experimental and computational methods underpinning single-cell RNA sequencing and deploying these methods to reveal important new biology across many organ systems in health and in diseases such as cancer, autoimmune disease, rare disease, and COVID-19. These methods and their demonstration have galvanized the international community to answer fundamental biological questions about the circuits controlling and driving cellular behavior and how they malfunction in disease.
