Description | Thanks Corner for his letters of the 2nd and 9th May. Explains that he has been occupied with the Southern Chile soiree exhibit so has not been able to reply before. Encloses three air tickets, for Corner, Chew and Harrison, although notes that Harrison will have to make arrangements for any assistant who requires air travel. Will send Askew his ticket directly. Highlights the difference in price between travelling on a Viscount rather than Dakota service so the Society will be entitled to a rebate if the Dakota service is used. Makes some final comments regarding air freight and the necessity of reporting any arms and ammunitions to the Borneo Police, as well as mentioning Askew's study of air photographs of the area in North Borneo that the expedition is heading to. |
