TitleLetter from E J H Corner, Botany School, Cambridge to George Hemmen, Royal Society
Date17 May 1961
DescriptionThanks Hemmen for his letter yesterday. Thinks the expedition may have to economise of some points ]. Encloses statements on Japanese cameras, sent by Chew Wee Lek and asks for Hemmen's opinion on which camera they should get. Informs him that J L Harison will be taking Hendrickson's collector with him, adding to travelling expenses. No longer thinks it necessary to travel to London tomorrow, but will raise a few basic points when they next meet. Finally informs Hemmen that he has a list of equipment coming from Singapore by sea and that it can be accommodated on land-rover to get to Ranau, although Corner also mentions that part of the road to Ranau has recently been washed away.
